Investment Banking Associate

We are currently looking to hire an Associate in our Baltimore, Maryland office.


  • Work on a variety of investment banking and financial advisory mandates and business development activities.
  • Serve as an integral member of a deal team to support senior bankers on all client engagement activities.
  • Prepare confidential information and private placement memoranda, management presentations and other marketing documents.
  • Support and manage research, due diligence and pitch preparation activities on prospective clients.
  • Prepare financial analyses and models.
  • Conduct industry and market research.
  • Identify and research potential transaction counterparties.
  • Ensure quality of client and all deliverables.
  • Interact with clients during presentations and deal executions.


  • Undergraduate and/or MBA degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics from an accredited college or university.
  • Previous experience in investment banking or related industries (e.g. accounting, restructuring, corporate development, private equity, valuation, etc.) required
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is a must.
  • Exceptional work ethic, intellectual curiosity, leadership and analytical aptitude.
  • Ability to exercise judgment, prioritize tasks and work on multiple engagements simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and the highest quality work product.
  • Experience conducting financial statement analysis a plus.
  • Strong modeling, quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Excellent research abilities including familiarity with Capital IQ.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
  • FINRA Series 79 and 63 certification (or willingness and ability to pass exams within 90 days of hire).
